Come visit the newly renovated Butcher Block Restaurant in Plattsburgh, NY! I made this video over several nights of filming. Used my SONY A7III and my Sony A6300 on a gimbal. The object of the video was to show everyone enjoying themselves without there being a "hard sell".

Always & Forever-SONY A7III
Переглядів 3,9 тис.6 років тому
Short film to test out my new SONY A7III. Sort of a love story to my wife! The early shots represent life without her, sort of stark, lonely, struggling to "get off the ground" (leaf), barely hanging on (blue tarp) but then when she arrived all was "wiped clean" (car wipers) and we've never looked back! Shot in 1080p 120fps. I only had crop lenses to use at this point, mostly used a SONY 50mm F...

These lighthearted videos will show before the movies at Cumberland 12 in Plattsburgh to remind people they are not alone in their living room and to be courteous to others. Special thanks to Todd Brunner for being the "annoying guy" and to his wife Jodi and daughter Tia. My friends, family and some employees rounded out the crowd and also were great at being "annoyed"!
Autumn in The Adirondacks 4k - SONY A6300
Переглядів 1,7 тис.7 років тому
Footage was all captured using the SONY A6300 in 4K 24p mode. Lens used was the Sony 18-105 F4 with a fader ND on the front. I shot almost of this with picture profile "Off" and Creative Style set to "Autumn Leaves" with Contrast at -3, Saturation and detail at 0. I used the Edelkrone Slider Plus with target and action modules. The detail in 4k from this little camera is amazing!

😮
Its actually K115
I wanted to go to Lake Placid for some snow because in Buffalo we didn't get anything this winter, but I'm sad to learn that Lake Placid doesn't have snow either. Global warming is real and it's horrifying.
Is this the same jump that wide world of sports used for their intro, when they said the agony of defeat?
It's a little intimidating 😂
Balls of steel
LETS GOO CHAZY
Genuine, but crazy question... what would happen if a normal skier attempted the K120? Like... can they just go straight or would they die? :P
i calculated i would need 264cm skis.i think i would want to start smaller and go ski them around the mountain before doing jumps
R.I.P....
❤
That humans can do with some ingenuity and some guts
Me being around World Cup Downhills for a good number of years, I have the utmost respect for you ski flying "squirls" of all Nations! Good luck next year Canada 👍
Who funds this? Let me guess, someone that doesn't fund helping children or the poor(but they probably claim to donate to their favorite "charity").
how come everyone who survived Auschwitz says they saw Dr.Mengele? Dr.Mengele wasn't there most of the time and he wasn't the guy at the selection process.
He was selecting also ... please learn about the history. One of our really famous photographer survived and he was one of the rabbit as his twin brother for Mengele. Please, visit Oswiecim, learn about it...
Absolutely amazing footage. Thanks for including the tech tips. I'm still shooting with the C100 M2 because I just can't justify the leap to 4k just yet. I like Wide DR myself and usually don't record external because I accept a certain level of quality out of the C100 and it's just not worth the hassle for my work. I joke a lot about people who still shoot C100 as the "cult" because the camera is such a workhorse it's hard not to respect it even with it being totally obsolete in 2023.
Rip Keene Barn
Wow, it's been a while since I jumped.....and now that there's plastic....hmmmm...really thinking about getting a suit for my bigger almost 40 year old body.
I get the heeby-jeebs just watching the video. Too high for this old man!
Can't wait to watch the world cup competition that is happening here in February. It's been a while since they last held a world cup competition in USA.
I like the music. All that peppy electronic music most drone videos or travel vlogs have is good and fine too but some of it can get a little overly hyper and grating/in your face. This music is nice and mellow. It's wintry. It's instrumental and soft which doesn't equal automatically depressing in my book. Great video!
didn't expect to see the guy who tuned my car on this video but that was neat
Used to jump the old 70 meter jump back in 73-74. Absolutely loved it! Can't imagine what the 120 is like.
The exposure looks scary af
Nope! Not me.
Hold my beer
Beautifully captured.
You are extremely strong and a total inspiration for all of mankind I love you always and the 6 million plus who were lost God bless you and your family and friends and all others who have to endure this horrible past ♥ stay strong 💪
I Went Here For My 5th Grade Field Trip On June 9, 2022
It starts at 3:25
I've lived in Plattsburgh my whole life, (15 years) it's a very nice, safe, and homey town ^^
you just called that giant piece of shit tower in the middle of a snow field beauty? you have lost it
How tf do you train for something like this
humans are so stupid to build this shit so morons can do stupid shit
Time for Eddie to fly again
🔥
We could have had Olympics at a cool place like this but instead we get it in communist china
F**K THAT! That's all I have to say!
Honestly, the gardener had one job and they couldn’t even weed the end of the ramp?
Awesome video, brings back memories, as I was born there 75 years ago, now live in the Hudson Valley area.
I’m still new if it’s never been so it let’s do it lol
Let’s see a snowboard do it
Imagine if there was a small lip at the end where you jump off
Ok... now start making the skis wider...like wings.
Haha! WooHoo!!! Awesome.
Great video, good narration too, thanks. Subscribed!
The fact that it's a tower in a rolling hills area it looks so much higher, that is very cool, being from the northeast and being 20 in 1980 I remember those Olympics well, I'm a hockey guy, so that was a magical year. That's what makes sports so great, they mark an era for the times that they play in.
I cant even wrap my mind around how anyone ever gets to the point they can do that.
So, where can we see a good angle of them jumping?
Unless you’re a multi camera TV crew you don’t get access to those view points. It’s impossible to shoot from one spot and cover the entire jump. Thanks for your click and comment though
I still remember the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics and it's awesome to see the facility still being used - even if only occasionally. Your video brings back a great feeling of nostalgia...thanks!
Look at all the other Olympic venues throughout the world that have become decrepit and completely unbearable to even look at from Sarajevo to Brazil to even parts of China where the actual venues are unable to be used anymore. Now look at this little tiny hamlet in northern New York. A place where in 1980 the world watched and it is still viable for athletic competition at unimaginable levels. They take pride in it as they should
